This morning, the 17th July 2023, The Metropolitan Archbishop of Bamenda, Most Rev. Andrew Nkea visited the site of the gruesome murder of 10 the previous night by unknown gunmen at about 6pm on the 16th of July 2023. The Bishop came to condole with the people of Nacho junction, Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon, where these killings took place. He condemned the killings and said no matter who did it and for what reason, taking the lives of others is not acceptable. He said Bamenda has suffered too much and the killings must stop with immediate effect. The population concurred with him when he said that "Enough is Enough". The Archbishop then gathered the people around the killing site, said some prayers, put a bouquet of flowers on the huge stone at Nacho Junction and lit up 10 candles in honor of the departed souls. The Archbishop then blessed the population and encouraged them to put everything to God in prayers. In an exclusive interview with Canal 2 TV, the Archbishop appealed to all stake holders to find a quick and lasting solution to the Anglophone problem so that our people can go on with their lives undisturbed.
